Project Overview
Stone Deco is a decorative wall heating panel designed for Chaleur Naturelle, a French brand specializing in natural home heating solutions. Combining natural stone with integrated heating technology, the project reimagines the heater as a design object — one that belongs on the wall not because it has to, but because it wants to be seen.

The Challenge
Heaters are usually hidden or ignored — functional boxes nobody wants to look at. Chaleur Naturelle wanted the opposite: a heating element that could live openly on the wall, as a decorative piece in its own right, without giving up real heating performance.

The Approach
We looked at natural stone not as a covering, but as the core material itself — exploring how its texture, warmth, and irregularity could merge with the technical requirements of a heating panel. Through material research, prototyping, and close collaboration with manufacturing partners, we shaped a piece that reads as natural wall decor at first glance, while functioning as a fully integrated heater underneath.

The Outcome
The result is Stone Deco — a wall piece that blurs the line between architecture and appliance. It brings the warmth of natural stone into the home in two senses: visually, as a striking decorative object, and physically, as an efficient heating source. For Chaleur Naturelle, it turned a purely functional category into a design statement.
